Why I'm Running

I'm running in memory of Jon Goss, a fraternity brother who recently lost his battle with Chronic Mylegenous Leukemia. Please help me by donating as much as you can. You donation goes directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help find a cure for all blood cancers, so this never has to happen again. To read more about Jon and his fight, go to his blog.

Day 11 — Reverse Lake Bike

Today I went on the same bike ride I did around the Lake, but in the reverse direction. There's a pretty decent hill that way, not terribly steep, but its for a good stretch. I thought it was actually longer then it is, but maybe i wouldn't be saying that if i had done it before i did the presidio hill on sunday. The next ride i'll look into going to St. Francis Wood, there's some good hills up there, so it should give me a good challenge, plus there aren't to many cars once i get into the neighborhood.

Today went really well, my training schedule said go out for a 25' ride, and i did the loop in 25'48" I'll push it a little hard next time. 4:03 pace means i'd currently be on the bike for 1:40:50...yikes. Maybe i shouldn't be doing the math quite yet.

Thank you for supporting me by reading, and if you do read this, please leave a comment! I hope to see both a comment and a donation before my next post from at least one person! It's easy! There are buttons for each! Use them!
