Today was my first team bike ride. And it was tough, for me at least. I was the last one back, which I'm ok with at this point. The hills killed me. Over 650' of ascent, which luckily also means it was over 650' of descent, because it was a loop. But it shows me that i definitely have to work on my climbs, and that i have the endurance to push through the pain. I was definitely cursing myself up those hills, but i never stopped, never walked, and kept pushing.
It will get better, and i'll get stronger. But for now, i have to go foam roll. Thank you all for those who read this, and especially those who have donated! Please spread the word, tell your friends you've donated, and get them to as well. Lets cure cancer, while i muscle up more hills!
Why I'm Running
I'm running in memory of Jon Goss, a fraternity brother who recently lost his battle with Chronic Mylegenous Leukemia. Please help me by donating as much as you can. You donation goes directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help find a cure for all blood cancers, so this never has to happen again. To read more about Jon and his fight, go to his blog.
