Went for a bike ride today, after i got a great tune up and some new (half price!) parts from the cycle shop. I wanted to attack some hills so i went into St. Francis Wood, the ritzy detached houses a la the beverly hills of SF. It took 25'52" but was a pretty short ride, only 3.89 miles. BUt the hills were good, i'll have to do a few loops next time. It's a beautiful virtually traffic free ride. Now onto the presidio sports basement for some safety gear, i need a new tube and some CO2 bottles for when i get a flat.
It's almost March! Almost a month into training, and i'm going strong. Please help me out by donating! Almost half way to my fundraising goal, let's try to get there before the 4th!
Why I'm Running
I'm running in memory of Jon Goss, a fraternity brother who recently lost his battle with Chronic Mylegenous Leukemia. Please help me by donating as much as you can. You donation goes directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help find a cure for all blood cancers, so this never has to happen again. To read more about Jon and his fight, go to his blog.
